Ha, a random March entry from 1998!  My junior year, remembered fondly!

 

Dear Diary,

Ohlone College Theatre festival was so fun.  We performed O.K., but we forgot some lines.  One of the audience members, Matt, told us we were really good.  I only know his name ‘cause he was in a improv group & was kinda cute.  He was really nice, too.  We only saw 2 of our opposition, Shawshank Redemption & Sisters.  ShRd was good & Sisters was BORING!  Snooze!  We had fun doing Improv before our bus came; it was hilarious! Well, tomorrow is the day of truth.  Talk to you then!

I remember that was the second time I did “Agnes of God” for the festival.  Sophomore year I did the scene with Linda & junior year I did it with Jackie.  That was the same year that we took Cabaret to the festival & some girls got mooned while they were practicing on the outdoor stage.  And one of many years that they mispronounced our teacher Mr. Moorhead’s name or our high school’s name, Encinal. And I actually wrote the next day, too, 3/7/98:

Diary-
We were soooo good today @ Ohlone.  But we didn’t make it to finals.  Nobody from EHS was in finals. That sucked.  At, umm, lunch Jackie & me & Anna & Suzanne & Becky & Andrea were evaluating this guy’s relationship with the girl on his lap.  It was fun.  I really felt cool w/ Anna & Suzanne.  Oh, & Whitney too.  They thought this guy was totally fine, but he wasn’t all that.  Well, Que sera, sera.  C’est la vie!  Au revoir, mon amie!

LMAO… look at me, saying my signature will be famous.  You should see it too, it’s not even a good looking signature.  And to think, I actually cared if I was cool with Whitney - one of the biggest bitches ever, come senior year.  Ah, high school!  It’s also really clear that I was really into the fact that I was taking French 3 lol.
